We have our very own chateau here at Le Grand
Pressigny which is within minutes of the house.
You can take a stroll in the gardens for free
and take in the views over the rooftops of the
village. It is also home to the Museum of Prehistory
(see
here)
What little remains
of the castle keep,dates back to the end of XIIth century.
The chateau was restored around 1560 by Honorat de Savoie, a lord to the Kings of France.
