Since way back in1992, the
gardens ofchateauChaumont-sur-Loire have
hosted an annual International Garden
Festival with up to 30 themed gardens. The gardens
are created by landscape architects, designers and
artists from different parts of the world around a
theme, which changes every year. The chateau grounds
are brought to life with the colour and fragrances
of a huge variety of plants and flowers. They say a
picture is worth a thousand words so have a look...
There are also permanent displays out with the
festival itself and if you add these and a visit to
the chateau itself it makes for a good day out.
