If you visit Chateau Azay le Rideau we would recommend popping along to their near neighbours at Chateau de l'Islette. It has a beautiful renaissance exterior, interesting interior plus lovely  gardens and lake.

Our favourite part of the interior is actually the modern bathroom!

To the side of the chateau there is what used to be a working mill that now houses a small gift shop and cafe which offers boats for rent allowing you to take to the water.
