So much to do in such little time! Only one week here at 'Les Balcons' (which exceeded our expectations) We managed to visit Chenonceau, Chambord, Loches, Tours and of course Chateau du Grand-Pressigny. Big thank you to Jim & Pauline for being the perfect hosts.

Enjoyed driving all the small back roads into villages. Especially liked Angle-sur-l'Anglin and Loches. Very comfortable home with outstanding CD collection and furnishings. We appreciated Jim's daily tips on recommended sites.

We have had a great holiday here. The house has everything  and we particularly loved spending evenings on the balcony. We enjoyed cycling locally and can recommend the 12 euro lunch at Maire (simple French food). Troglodytes were interesting. Local shops were great plus fresh bread and delicious gateau from the bakery.

The house is absolutely fab and immaculate, a credit to Jim & Pauline. The area is beautiful with plenty to do for all the family. Stayed here for one week, wish we were here for longer but now on to the Dordogne for second week. Hopefully will be back in the future and would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely peaceful week at 'Les Balcons'. The village and local countryside is perfect. We enjoyed some beautiful local walks and the village bars. Sunday lunch at 'Chez Grand Ma' a must plus the La Promenade restaurant in Le Petit-Pressigny is amazing!

The first week was very hot- 97 F ! so plenty of liquid intake...purely medicinal ye ken! This is an excellent, well equipped gite from which to explore the Loire Valley...good fun

Jim & Pauline,Le Balcons is a charming tastefully decorated home. The gardens are lovely...thank you for the flowers and provisions, greatly appreciated. You have done a commendable job of restoring this property. Thanks for the market tips and advice. We visited several chateaux : Chambord & Villandry plus small gardens an dejeuner at Chateau du Rivau. We love la France!  Au revoir...
