What climate to expect in the
Loire Valley ...
April and
May:
The temperatures begin to
climb to around 20°C.
There can be misty starts to the mornings but it normally clears away quickly.
The odd day of rain but
rarely for long.
June to September:
Spring into summer
we have long dry spells of weather with average at around 24°C. July peaks as high as 27°C dropping to 22°C
the closer you get to September.
October and November:
Highs of 17° in October to 12°C in November
with occasional light frosts.Some beautiful Autumn days for walking are exploring.
December to
March:
Chilly time with lows in February of 8°C and highs of 11°C in March. Rain heavy at times.
If you are considering a permanent move to the Loire Valley then
this is a good time to visit as this is the worst it's going to get!
