The church of
Notre Dame de l'Assomption in the beautiful
village of Apremont-sur-Allier dates
from1861.
It was
built on the remains of the old Romanesque
church, destroyed around 1735.
Inside the
church is
pretty unremarkable, with its red marble font
being all that remains of the old church.
Where's Joan? She hasn't found a home here
-many other saints are represented in the
stained glass windows of the church but no
Joan.
